Covid Hospital. Bellvitge University Hospital
Drafting of the project and construction of a multipurpose hospital building (Covid) on the grounds of the Bellvitge University Hospital, in Hospitalet de Llobregat.
The project design and its execution were carried out using the Lean Construction management system, BIM modelling, and an IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) approach. It is noteworthy that the construction of the hospital was completed in only 17 weeks, an exceptional timeframe that required a high level of coordination among all stakeholders.
The building consists of a ground floor plus four floors, with a technical gallery on the top floor where all the installations are located. The project also anticipates the possibility of adding an additional floor. The constructed area is 4,938.70 m², with a floor plan measuring 15 x 75 metres.
