Extension of an ore plant in the desert

Expansion of an ore enrichment plant near the town of Zouérate (Mauritania).

The construction of the mine, which includes civil works, the assembly of the metal structure, and all the equipment, electrical systems, and instrumentation, will be carried out alongside the existing facility, thus tripling the capacity to supply iron.

The work to be performed is part of the mining operations currently underway in Mauritania. The project is extremely complex due to its geographical location more than 800 km from the Port of Nouadhibou and in the middle of the desert.
