The project in Mauritania, specifically in the Tasiast area, is part of the “Tasiast Optimization Project,” an optimization and expansion project being conducted by the Canadian mining company through its Mauritanian subsidiary, Tasiat Mauritanie Limited, S.A.

Main works:

Construction of new facilities for the primary processing of the material extracted from the deposit. Basically, a primary mill, with its screens and conveyor belts to take it to a storage area where the equipment will be installed to subsequently transfer the materials to a SAG Mill, where the auxiliary facilities for this mill will be installed.
