Adaptation of the Barcelona Nord bus station section
-
Barcelona
The new Lleida bus station is located in the surroundings of the former La Meta flour mill, in the city center, within an area bounded by the railway yard of the Adif Lleida-Pirineus station, Comtes d’Urgell Street, Príncep de Viana Street, and Ramon Berenguer IV Square.
The project develops the reuse of the structure of the former warehouse of the “Docs” flour mill and the construction of a new station section on the adjacent undeveloped plot.
The works include new construction and the rehabilitation of the existing hall, incorporating structural interventions such as a new foundation using a slab supported on caissons and strip footings, the replacement and removal of columns, the opening of new access points, and the execution of steel shoring frames, as well as monitoring and surveying of nearby buildings due to the location and scale of the works.
