Redevelopment of the commercial streets of the Born market

The purpose of this project is to enhance the connectivity between Born Passage and la Ciutadella. It entails continuity with the development plan for the streets around the Born Market by means of a single platform between the boundary of the previous works and the beginning of Born Passage.

Lines of action:

• Follow an urban strategy for adapting the space to the functional needs and uses of the public both at the urban level in the Born district (connectivity, permeability, etc.) and at the level of the market and its surroundings (access to the new amenity, permeability of the Market, functionality of the space, flexibility of use, etc.)
• Establish a link with the historic city in the old Market building with a paving composition that reproduces the layout of the old streets, connects the space with the amenity and encourages people to come in and take part in the historical experience involved in seeing the sites discovered inside the building.
