Renovation an office building on Pintor Sorolla street
-
Valencia
The project consists of the comprehensive renovation, both interior and exterior, of a 12-story administrative-office building that is partially in use, currently the BBVA’s Levante headquarters acquired by FIATC, located at 1 Pintor Sorolla Street in Valencia. The project encompasses the entire façade, the common areas (entrances, corridors, and bathrooms) throughout the building, the complete renovation of floors 3 to 10, and the renovation and expansion of the penthouse on floor 11.
Since the building is currently in use and has to remain so during the works, the following construction phases have been drawn up:
Phase 1:
Floors 3–6. Complete construction of four floors to accommodate the workers who currently occupy the building’s other floors.
Phase 2:
Common areas with access from Pintor Sorolla Street. Construction of entrance, lobby, stairwell and elevator, and bathrooms.
Phase 3:
Floors 7– 11. Construction of 5 floors including renovation of the offices and extension of the framework on the top floor. The project does not include interior partitions; each floor will be left as a single large space ready for occupancy by the future tenants.
Phase 4:
Common areas accessed from Poeta Querol Street. Construction of entrance, lobby, stairwell and elevator, and bathrooms. It cannot be started until phase 2 has been completed.
Phase 5:
Façade. Complete renovation of the façade, construction system, materials, metalwork and finishes.
The total area of the project is approximately 7.500 m².
