Barcelona
The works carried out at the Hospital CIMA consisted of demolishing the ventilated limestone facade and installing a new stone facade with similar characteristics, remedying faulty workmanship and ensuring the safety of the façade.
The entire stone façade to be replaced covers an area of approximately 1.250 m². The work was carried out using supported tubular scaffolding with a working area of 1,800 m² at a maximum height of 21 m, adjusting to the irregularities of the existing façade.
Construction of a new ventilated façade using creamy white limestone cladding, 90x40x3 m in size, with 5 mm horizontal and 3 mm vertical ventilation joints. Façade fixing system using adjustable self-supporting stainless steel anchors for support and retention, mechanically attached to the existing façade.
Installation on the interior wall of the building of approximately 50 m² of self-supporting steel sheet metal placed using an auxiliary structure made up of omega profiles.
